ITS GO TIME

Shutting the Central Valley Valiants out was a huge feat for the Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders, however it also gave the Raiders some things to look at going into there final home game of the year against Cavalier. The Raiders are now 5-2 after defeating Central Valley and have two games remaining as there playoff hopes hang in the balance.

Big Win
The Central Valley Valiants have been capable of winning only one game so far this season which was against Dakota Prairie. The Raiders were not going to let off as Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders Junior Quarterback Eric Haugland scored on a 1 yard Touchdown rush with 5:36 left in the first quarter. That would be the only Touchdown the Raiders would need, but the Raiders did not let off as they score three more Touchdowns, two from Junior running back Chris Miller and one from Junior running back Jaron Moor. This win was huge because the Raiders needed some momentum going to a very tough game against Cavalier.

A Closer Look
Have you ever heard a player, fan or coach ever say "this is the biggest game of the year"? Well for the Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders this game is huge, one of the best class B, 9 man football teams in the state are coming into the Raiders house. The Raiders have the talent and potential to make plays, this is a statement game to prove that Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders are a threat for the 2011 High School Football Playoffs. The Raiders have been out to prove people wrong this season, as they came into the season to lose more games then win according to sceptics. in this game against Cavalier expect Chris Miller to make plays all around the field. The key this week for Cavalier is to try to contain Junior running back Chris Miller. But at the same time they need to find a way to contain Jaron Moor, Dylan Eichelberger and Eric Haugland. Cavalier is going to have a handful as they must find ways to contain a very high powered offense.

Play Maker
#21 Jaron Moor
Jaron Moor leads the Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders in Touchdowns this year as he has 10 rushing touchdowns and 3 receiving touchdowns. Junior Running back Jaron Moor has the capability to break one wide open when he gets in space. At the same time Moor is very elusive as he makes people miss every time he gets the football. Hes not only the rushing touchdown leader, he's also the receiving leader, helping  Quarter Back Eric Haugland get the team great field position. Expect a lot of attention to be placed on Chris Miller this weekend against Cavalier as they will be keying in on him, more then the other players on the squad because Miller is the leading rusher for the Raiders, this will lead into more opportunities for Jaron Moor. Most players on the football field don't have the speed and agility Moor brings to the table which can lead to some big plays from #21 Jaron Moor!

Outcome
The Raiders have a great chance in this game, so do not count them out. The Raiders don't care who they play, there always looking for a win. Dylan and Brady Eichelberger are two brothers on the Raiders team that are not afraid to make a play, take a hit, or make the hit. They are always ready for collision and are ready to make plays every time they take the field. It does'nt have to be the few players I mentioned to make plays, it has to be the player who is willing to step up and make a play. This game is going based on, clock management, patience and taking advantage of opportunities. This is going to be a great game.
