KICK OFF

Season opener, vs HPFS was a success for the Lakota-Adams-Edmore Raiders! The first win of the season is always an important one, and the Raiders were not going to let this one slip away!

The Raiders opening drive resulted in 6 points as Eric Haugland rushed for a 14 yard TOUCHDOWN! Both teams held in check on defense all night. Dylan Eichelberger showed his defenses strength with an interception early in the first half. One possession later HPFS went on a tear and scored on a 46 yard TOUCHDOWN reception, executing the 2 point conversion. With 24 seconds left in the First half Eric Haugland came up with the interception to end the quarter! The Third Quarter went scoreless but the Raiders were not phased going into the final quarter of the game! The fourth Quarter was an exciting one! With only 5:43 remaining Dylan Eichelberger went in on a 6 yard TOUCHDOWN run, not able to capitalize on 2 point conversion. With a little over 4:30 left in the game the Spartans had possession and a chance to retake the lead. Lakota-Adams-Edmore was not going to allow any big plays! On Fourth Down and long on the Spartans own 30 they had no choice but to throw! Brandon Hanson brought the Quarterback down for a sack, which resulted in a turnover for the Spartans! Coach Joe Harder, began to run the clock down, how ever Eric Haugland took it himself into the Endzone with a 24 yard rushing TOUCHDOWN, 2 point conversion was good! And the LAKOTA-ADAMS-EDMORE RAIDERS went on to win 20 to 8! It was a great way to start off the season!

This weeks GAME CHANGING MOMENT goes to BRANDON HANSON for his big Fourth Down Sack late in the Fourth Quarter to help the Raiders pull off the win against the Spartans!
Also! this weeks HIT OF THE GAME!! Goes to DYLAN EICHELBERGER, Fourth Quarter, Third Down Stick!

GREAT GAME RAIDERS!

RAIDERS RUSHING ATTACK!
The Raiders ability to make a play is remarkable, the different weapons they can bring at a defense is incredible! No running back will be left out in this offense. Dylan Eichelberger [RB], Brady Eichelberger [FB], Chris Miller [RB], Jaron Moor [RB/FL], and Eric Haugland [QB] all have great speed and big play ability! It doesn't matter who's going to get the ball, its always going to be a positive gain! The Raiders just would not be stopped when it came to running the football!

PASSING GAME!
Although the passing game was lacking tonight, Eric Haugland went 2 for 10 and 34 yards, however he was capable of using his legs in clutch situations allowing himself to score two Touchdowns! Eric hit Thomas Boe on both of the receptions. The Raiders are continuing to grow and are going to become an elite team this season!

I had a chance to talk to Dylan Eichelberger after the game, he was very excited after the first win of the season! "This first win was very important, it shows we are a team that is no joke" Dylan was very happy with the defensive improvement from last season. Eichelberger stated "Although I may not be a Senior, I do feel its important to lead the under class-men" While talking to Dylan it sounded as if we can expect more game like tonight this season!

GLORY HEART PASSION VICTORY
